How We Got Here
A Dream in a Home Kitchen
Maggie starts baking professionally through Love and Imperfections, a cottage business, while dreaming of a real bakery. Two bank rejections can't stop her.
The Phone Call That Changed Everything
While chatting about bakery dreams in her kitchen with Mason, an unexpected call from building owner Nicholas Aadland opens the door to a commercial space.
Fargo Bakery Opens
Maggie and co-founder Morgan Laite open Fargo Bakery in Moorhead. Wild rice-cranberry bread becomes an instant local legend.
A Beautiful New Home
The bakery triples in size, moving to a stunning 2,000 sq ft space at 801 Main Ave. Espresso, breakfast sandwiches, and soups join the menu.
